Hello Trailblazer Families!
Fundraising for the coming year is underway, and we need to give credit to those of you who participated in the Kroger Rewards Program. As you know if you attended the parent meeting, Kroger did NOT send out an email to the participant but you can still access the quarterly information for (Sept – Nov) (Dec – Feb) (March – May).

PLEASE go to www.kroger.com/communityrewards, sign in, and go to “Account Summary” under “Account Settings” on the lefthand margin of the page. Scroll to the bottom and you will find your quarterly total. You can just screen shot it and forward it to me. This amount will only be available to you until August 31. As of September 1, the 4th quarter amount will be posted. I will need you to do the same thing with the amount posted at that time.

ALSO – IF you would like to use the Kroger Community Rewards again, you will need to re-enroll BEFORE AUGUST 31 to start earning again for the Trailblazers. Your Kroger card will still work, but it will not be earning any money for the Trailblazers unless you re-enroll. You can do that from the same screen – the “Account Summary” screen. Scroll to the bottom and click on “Re-enroll”. It will then prompt you to enter your organization’s number or name. The number is 88226. Click on the search button after entering the number. The website will bring up “Barren River Home School Association Trailblazers”. Click on the button beside that and hit return. It will then tell you that you are re-enrolled.

The Trailblazers have earned $914.21 on the first 3 quarters! We will have earned well over $1,000 after the 4th quarter is over. I will be allocating these funds to everyone who participated, based on the percentage that your totals for the last 2 quarters to the overall total earned by the group. We had 17 families participating in the first 2 quarters and 19 in the 3rd. You may have signed up a friend or relative’s account, as well. I will also need their totals/quarter in order to assign it to you. IF I do not get something from you, I cannot possibly know who participated or not, in that Kroger will not give me that information – it is protected for your privacy. So, PLEASE get it in to me so you get credit for your fundraising with Kroger.

Please email jennifer.woosley@gmail.com if you have any questions.

After our meeting the other night a few questions popped up that we wanted to clarify in regards to the various fundraisers.

Little Caesars: Jennifer should receive the order forms from the company the week of August 17th. Please be looking for an email next week to let you know when and where to meet Jennifer to pick these up.

Coke: All cases sell for $22. We are charged tax on everything but water. So the profit on the waters will be around $4.50 per case and on all other products approximately $3.50 per case. But you just charge the customer $22 flat rate.

Krispy Kreme:  When you are selling to the customer remember you are selling gift certificates for them to purchase a dozen glazed donuts at any time of their choosing. These gift certificates are good anywhere nationwide. THEY ARE FOR GLAZED DONUTS ONLY.

Car Wash Campbell Lane: Please being looking for a sign up sheet on the website soon. These funds will be used to help offset tournament expenses during the season. We need everyone’s help so please sign up. It will be a great way for the kids to work together and have fun at the same time. All while letting people know about the basketball program and hopefully taking in some donations.

Please keep all money separate for each fundraiser. You were given an envelope for each fundraiser so please keep this separate.  For example, if a customer buys Coke products and Krispy Kreme gift certificates they need to write two separate checks to Western Kentucky Trailblazers. Thank you for helping us keep all this separate. It will help our job when it comes to submitting all the orders.

All orders are to be turned in at practice the week of September 14th  by the end of the week.  Or Jennifer and Marlene will be at Starbucks on Monday September 21st from 3:00-4:00 to collect fundraising packets. Jennifer will be at the Scottsville Road location and Marlene at the Campbell Lane location. If you need to make other arrangements please let us know.  Thank you for helping us get these collected in a timely manner.

All orders will be distributed on Thursday afternoon October 15th between 2:00 and 5:00 at Jennifer’s home 838 Hunters Run Avenue. All Little Caesar’s and Coke products will be ready for pickup. All items MUST be picked up during this time period due to the fact we will not have room to store the pizzas in the refrigerator or freezer. Thank you for helping us with getting these picked up during this time period.
