Welcome to the Western Kentucky Trailblazers! If you are looking for a homeschool basketball organization in the South Central Kentucky area then you are in the right spot. Our organization provides an opportunity for boys and girls ages 10 to 18 to play competitive basketball. We participate in the Midsouth Homeschool Athletic Conference (MHAC) and the National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championships. We also play against area public and private schools. We currently have Boys 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under, & 18 and under teams. We are looking to restart our girls teams. The girls program will depend on the amount of registration we receive. If you have a boy or girl interested in playing homeschool basketball or have questions about being eligible to play homeschool basketball, please contact one of our committee members.

Our committee is busy making plans for the season. There are still some uncertainties with the current pandemic, and based on the most recent information provided we will be playing ball this season!!

Please email Joseph or the committee if you’d like a supply of smart cards. They sell for $20 each and cost us $10. So, you could sell 15 cards to reach your fundraising requirement.

Our annual parents meeting will be Monday, July 29th at 6:30pm at Oakland Gym. The girls camp will be going at the same time, so we will meet in the back area. This is a mandatory meeting for you to get important information about the 2019-20 season:

• No boys 18u team this season. We had 8 seniors graduate, so our focus will be on the 16u boys this season.
• Girls 18u is back in MTAC with reduced travel and schedule
• Boys 14u returns with a strong team, playing in the Midsouth and MTAC conferences
• Boys 12u will reduce games and schedule this season, with a focus on practice and development

Congratulations to the Boys 12u who won the Final Four game against the Northside Lions from Indianapolis. Tomorrow morning at 8am is the championship game between our Class 5A Western Kentucky Trailblazers and the Class 7A MHEA Eagles from Memphis, TN.
