The 7/8th team will have practice tonight at Alvaton from 6-8pm and again on Saturday from 10-12 at Oakland Baptist’s gym. Please make every effort to be at both of those practices to prepare for next week’s tournament.

7/8th schedule
Hello Trailblazers,
This is a big week for the team as we tune up for the tournament next week. Today, we play Lighthouse in Antioch and tomorrow, we play Bethel at Leitchfield.
Please be there before 4:30 for warmups. We need to be ready to play because it’s our final opportunity to get a conference win and affect our seeding for the tournament. Antioch is on the other side of Nashville, so give yourself some extra time.
In Tuesday’s game, that team has some 6th graders on their team, so we’ll provide an opportunity for our 5/6th starters to play too.
Please remember on Saturday, we have a practice at Oakland Baptist church at 10am. Please be there because it will be our final practice before the tournament.

5/6th season
There are no more 5/6th games this season. We had a great time this year and I hope everyone learned a lot. We will try to get together for a team party after the tournaments are over. Here are a few additional activities for 5/6th team members.
1. If everyone could come to Phil Moore Park on Friday in uniform, towards the end of the 12pm game, the photographer would like to get a team photo and some shots of the boys shooting around.
2. We would like for Andrew, Max, Rider, Joel and Dan to continue coming to practices and dress out for our games on 2/3 and 2/9. These teams have some 6th graders on their MS squads, so there will be some opportunities for our 5/6th starters to play.
Thank you for all of your support this season and we hope to see you all at the banquet.
Practice on Monday
I wasn’t able to locate a facility for another practice this week. So, we’ll see everyone back on next week’s practice schedule. Monday and Thursday from 6-8pm at Old Alvaton Gym. Both teams play at Sumner Tuesday night and the 7/8th boys play on Friday at Christian Community. See you next week!
Practice today for 5/6th 7/8th teams
I hope everyone had a great week off last week. Hopefully, we’re not too out of shape for our games next week. For anyone who is in town, please come to a practice today at Phil Moore Park from 5-7pm. I am also trying to find a location for a practice this Saturday. I’ll let you know as soon as I can get something worked out.
No practice tonight for 5/6th 7/8th
There will be no practice tonight. We’re working on finding an alternate practice location during the holidays. If we can work something out, we’ll let you know. We’d like to have some practice time for anyone who is in town and able to do it.
